Duffy Theatre

Today Carlton school was lucky enough to have the Duffy theatre. When the show started it started off with a little girl named Sienna that would always get detention's and she loved watching TV and always talked about sky TV.As soon as Duffy talked to her about books she started watching less TV and she did more reading.Her mum made Sienna a library card and she told sienna that when ever she gets a book out she needs to get her mum a book to.Sienna didn't know how to use her imagination until she started reading books when she didn't read books. She would get a detention because she would not finish her story's and she could only finish her story bye using her imagination. My favorite part of the Duffy theater was when Duffy tried talking Sienna into books but when Duffy asked her questions she would answer them by using TV things.
   

Week 6 Refection term 3

Refection
My Favorite part of this week was going to Wembly park in Wanganui for the soccer tournament.Its my favroutie part because we played in different positions and I did my best.I also liked how Miss Davenport said that we can play Multi Sports on Thursday.The only reason why I liked Multi Sports is that we played Soccer and Basketball plus Rugby.In the soccer tournament I learn't that when you are a left wing you have to wait in till the ball comes your way.In Multi Sports I  learnt that in Basket ball you can't just run with the ball and in Soccer you cant touch the ball with your hands plus Rugby you have to pass the ball when you get touched in Touch Rugby.Next week my goal is to finish my learning tasks by Friday.

Book Review FROGGY learns to swim

Its all about a frog who learns how to swim.He swims by himself He doesn't want to get out of the lake he is scared at the start.I like that froggy doesn't want to swim then he does.I didn't like that his mum was pushing him to swim.I think the book is suited for 4 and over.I give the book a star ratting of 5 out of 5.

Museum and art gallery trip

On Tuesday 2nd of June 2015 Room's 4 5 15 2 drove in a bus to the Museum and the art gallery.Room 4 and Room 2 drove to the art gallery to learn about Pure Te Manihera McGreogr.The person that teached us was Sietske.We also learned how to make our own tokutuku patron with Alexis Neal.And that is what we learnt at the art gallery.After we left the art gallery we had to walk to the Wanganui Museum and then we had our morning tea and had a little play it was so amazing to see how many people there was.After that we scrolled into the Museum and we saw Awhina and a funny looking person that we have not seen and his name is Ronn.First of all Room 4 and Room 2 were the only class's there so Room 4 went with Awhina and Room 2 went with Ronn.When we walked into the Theatre and learn't about toe toru and Puhanga plus Matariki .After we had Awhina we went to the Cosmodome with Ron.It was so fun and cool.

To Miriam

Miriam is a important person to me because she treats me like I am her kid and I love her like a real mummy and I treat her like she is my real mummy.When I first meet Miriam my dad said that we were going to her house for dinner.I met Miriam when I was five and that was when we went to her house for dinner.Right now Miriam my dad are friends and she is like my real mummy.Miriam looks after me more than my real mum and loves me like I love her.I'm lucky to have Miriam and lucky to love her too.
